PSPL has a state-of-the-art CNC Parabolic spring manufacturing machine with a capacity of making parabolic leaves upto 50 mm thick and 125 mm wide. This gives PSPL the ability to make a spring from a 2 kg weight to 350 kgs.

if Worn out shackle pins and bushes are not replaced, the springs will get shock load in horizontal direction and springs is likely to brick near ends, I.e main leaf breaking near the eye bushes. it is necessary to use the shackles pins and bushes of correct specifications and regularly grease the shackle pins to see that pin and bush do not get worn out early and no gap exists between pin and bush.
LOOSES "U" BOLT
U bolt tightness is the most important factor in the springs maintenance there must be absolutely know flexing at the center of spring. always torque U bolt to the suspension manufacturer's specifications. when installing or replacing springs assembly, never use old components because they are stretched and will not maintain clamping force.
SHOCK ABSORBER
Through it does not take load, it fitment helps in proper distribution of load and vibrations that are cost during running operation. proper fitment shock abosorbers considerably reduces the springs consumption.
POOR BREAK BALANCE
An often overlooked contribution to springs fatigue is poor brake balance. badly adjusted brake will cause the remaining properly adjusted brakes to do more than their share of stopping work, it would effect the performance of leaf springs.
DAMAGED RUBBER BUFFER.
Rubber buffer are provided either on the springs top or below chassis to see that the springs does not directly hit the chassis. During operation the rubber buffers get damaged and if they are not replaced in time, the springs top is likely to hit the chassis under adverse operating conditions damaging the springs.
